About the fact that the 311th MS. The bomber squadron was undoubtedly the most important unit of the British Air Force (RAF – Royal Air Force), which fought Czechoslovak pilots during World War II, the author mentioned in the previous section (CZECHOSLOVAK Pilots in the RAF, OUR MILITARY Prague 2016). However, it was not the only one in which some of the Czechoslovak pilots worked during World War II. The book CZECHOSLOVAK Pilots in RCAF, SAAF, SRAF and RAAF 1940–1945 this time describes their war activities in some units organizationally integrated in the Royal Canadian Air Force – RCAF, South African Air Force – SAAF, Southern Rhodesian Air Force – SRAF, and also the Australian Air Force – RAA. Even in these cases, however, their activities outside the Czechoslovak bombing squadron were incomparably smaller. However, its content was often interesting and varied in terms of the individual types of aircraft on which they flew. These were not only well-known aircraft such as Bristol Blenheim, Bristol Beaufort, Bolingbroke MkIV, Avro Anson, Lockheed Hudson, Lockheed-Vega Ventura GRV, American Consolidated Catalina or Canso Canadian aircraft, Supermarine Stranraer aircraft, Consolidated B-24 Liberator , Vickers Wellington, but also such machines as Douglas (B-18A) DB-1 Digby, Martin PBM-3B Mariner and some other types of others, especially training aircraft. The author also mentions the conditions, time and environment in which our pilots moved. Even in this case, the text is supplemented by appropriate photographs and copies of selected documents.
