Cystine Vitamin B6 BIOGARAN CONSEIL Box of 120 film-coated tablets, used to strengthen fragile hair and nails, and in the adjunctive treatment of scarring of the cornea and early baldness (hair growth).
This medication contains a sulfur amino acid found in the keratin of hair and nails, and vitamin B6.
It is used in the adjunct treatment of fragile hair and nails.
This medication should not be used in the following cases:
abnormal elimination of cystine in the urine (cystinuria),
in combination with medicines containing levodopa alone.
DRUG INTERACTIONS (summary)
This medication should not be combined with levodopa alone: risk of canceling its effects.
PREGNANCY and BREASTFEEDING (summary)
This medicine only contains substances that are thought to be safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, do not use it for a prolonged period without the advice of your pharmacist or doctor.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE (summary)
The tablets should be swallowed with a little water during meals.
Usual dosage:
Adult: 2 tablets, 2 times a day.
