Collagen is a protein found in ligaments, tendons, bones, cartilage and teeth. With approx. 80% collagen is a main organic component and thus the basis of the skin. Collagen is therefore an essential part of connective tissue and the skin and is responsible for how tight and smooth or how wrinkled the skin is. With increasing age you can see that the collagen production is reduced and thus the amount of collagen in the skin and joints also decreases. To delay this, the additional intake of collagen in the form of a collagen hydrolyzate is recommended.

Mit zunehmendem Alter kann man feststellen, dass sich die Kollagenproduktion reduziert und somit auch der Kollagen-Anteil in der Haut und in den Gelenken abnimmt.
