Therapeutic indications
Codex Sachets of the pharmaceutical company Zambon is used in:
Prophylaxis and treatment of intestinal dysmicrobism induced by antibiotics and sulfonamides and of the dysvitaminosis caused by them
Therapy of acute diarrhea of various etiologies
Prophylaxis and treatment of “traveler’s diarrhea”
Treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with altered alvus
Treatment of candidiasis of the gastrointestinal tract.
Dosage and Posology
Codex posology
The Codex drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods:
Adults: 1-2 sachets 2 times a day.
Children from 0 to 3 years: 1 sachet 2 times a day.
Children from 3 to 12 years: 1 sachet 3 times a day.
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor. It is advisable to administer Codex at regular intervals, possibly on an empty stomach or at least 15 minutes before meals. During therapy with antibiotics, administer Codex at the same time as these.
Codex in children
For infants or children it is advisable to pour the contents of the sachet into the bottle, or in a little sweetened liquid.

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Codex Bustine della casa farmaceutica Zambon si usa nella:
Profilassi e trattamento del dismicrobismo intestinale indotto da antibiotici e sulfamidici e delle disvitaminosi da essi determinate
Terapia delle diarree acute a varia eziologia
Profilassi e trattamento delle “diarree del viaggiatore”
Terapia della sindrome del colon irritabile con alvo alterato
Terapia delle candidosi del tratto gastroenterico.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Codex posologia
Il farmaco Codex va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità:
Adulti: 1-2 bustine 2 volte al giorno.
Bambini da 0 a 3 anni: 1 bustina 2 volte al giorno.
Bambini da 3 a 12 anni: 1 bustina 3 volte al giorno.
Salvo diversa prescrizione medica. Si consiglia la somministrazione di Codex ad intervalli regolari, possibilmente a digiuno o comunque almeno 15 minuti prima dei pasti. In corso di terapia con antibiotici somministrare Codex contemporaneamente a questi.
Codex nei bambini
Per lattanti o bambini si consiglia di versare il contenuto della bustina nel poppatoio, o in poco liquido zuccherato.
