  1. Inserting the test strip
     Insert a new GlucoMen® areo test strip into the top of the meter.

  2. Win a drop of blood

     Apply a drop of blood to the end of the test strip.

  4. Display measurement result
     The measurement result appears after 5 seconds.

  5. Eject test strip
     Use the eject button to hygienically remove the used test strip.

  Additional functions:
  Alarm:
  You can set up to three times for a reminder signal on your GlucoMen® areo meter. At the set time, an acoustic signal will sound for 30 seconds.

  Hypo/hyper alarm:
  Your GlucoMen® areo blood glucose meter has an alarm function that allows you to set thresholds for your low (hypoglycemia) and high (hyperglycemia) blood glucose levels. Depending on the values ​​set, the display will show hypo or hyper if your blood glucose measurement result is below your lower blood glucose threshold or above your upper blood glucose threshold.

  Average of measurement results
