Bepanthen eye and nasal ointment is used to support healing in the case of superficial, slight skin damage to the cornea, conjunctiva or nasal mucosa. Unless otherwise prescribed, Bepanthen is applied daily as a strand of ointment (approx. 1 cm) to the affected mucous membranes.
application areas
The drug is applied
as a cream, ointment, solution
– to support the healing of superficial skin and mucous membrane damage,
– to support the healing of all forms of fresh and chronic skin damage (skin injuries), abrasions, bedsores, simple burns, chronic ulcers, cracks e.g. on the nipples or in the anus area, skin inflammation after exposure to radiation (sunburn, x-rays).
Anwendungsgebiete
Das Medikament wird angewendet
als Creme, Salbe, Losung
– zur Unterstutzung der Heilung bei oberflachlichen Haut- und Schleimhautschadigungen,
– zur Unterstutzung der Heilung von allen Formen frischer und chronischer Hautschaden (Hautverletzungen), Schurfwunden, Wundliegen, einfache Brandwunden, chronische Geschwure, Schrunden z.B. an den Brustwarzen oder im Afterbereich, Hautentzundungen nach Strahleneinwirkung (Sonnenbrand, Rontgenstrahlen).
