It contains a probiotic culture of Streptococcus salivarius K12, which consists of the peptides salivaricin A2 and salivaricin B, called bacteriocins. This bacterium can take strategic positions in the oral cavity, nasopharynx and middle ear and can displace unwanted species. Studies show that Bactoral is able to colonize the upper respiratory tract as early as 3 days after the first administration and can still be detected 32 days after discontinuation.

When to use
Whenever you need to add a friendly oral microbim to the oral cavity, nasopharynx or middle ear. After using antibiotics to deliver and stabilize the oral microbiome.

What to watch out for
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. The product is not intended as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components. Not suitable for children under 1 year, pregnant and lactating women. Keep out of reach of children.

Recommended dosage
1 bag once a day, preferably in the evening after a meal. Tear off the seal of the bag at the marked place and pour the contents of the bag into a small amount of lukewarm milk or other beverage, preferably in a baby bottle (the temperature must not exceed 40 ° C). After dissolving the contents, allow the child to drink the beverage slowly on spoons or through a teat with a lower flow rate, thus ensuring appropriate contact of the probiotic culture with the mucosa. For children from 3 years of age, the contents of the sachet can also be poured into the mouth (Avoid inhalation!) And allowed to dissolve freely in the mouth. Then do not eat or drink for at least 30 minutes. It is important to keep the contents of the sachet in the mouth for as long as possible so that Streptococcus salivarius K12 can settle on the mucous membranes. To speed up colonization, you can take 1 sachet twice a day after meals. Bactoral Baby should not be combined with antibiotics. On the contrary, we recommend using it immediately after the completion of antibiotic treatment in order to supplement the friendly microbiome of the oral mucosa. We always recommend using the entire package. After that, it is possible to interrupt the use for about a month and repeat the treatment again.
