AWA herbs Plantain lanceolate leaf 100g

is an herb that you will not find on the English lawn, but perhaps in every meadow, by the roads and in the garden. It measures about 20 centimeters, has long leaves (they have a lanceolate blade with an entire to indistinctly serrated edge), a ground rosette and a flower (plantain blooms from May to October), which is similar in appearance to a tiny cone.

Plantain and its effects on health:
supports coughing and is a source of mucus (the most suitable is macerate – put the herb in cold water and leave to macerate at room temperature for several hours, preferably overnight, then warm to body temperature)
facilitates coughing and releases mucus from the airways
suitable for colds and inflammation of the upper respiratory tract associated with cough and severe congestion
for rinsing and washing for inflammatory processes of the oral mucosa and larynx, for infected hemorrhoids and also for non-healing wounds (infusion)

Měří cca 20 centimetrů, má dlouhé listy (mají kopinatou čepel s celokrajným až nezřetelně zoubkovaným okrajem), v přízemní růžici a květ (jitrocel kvete od května do října), který je ve zralosti podobný malinké šištičce.

podporuje vykašlávání a je zdrojem slizových látek (nejvhodnější je macerát – vložte bylinku do studené vody a nechejte při pokojové teplotě macerovat několik hodin, nejlépe přes noc, potom ohřejte na teplotu těla)
