Dosage
Adults: Aulin gel (usually 3 g, corresponding to 6-7 cm of extruded strip of gel) is applied in a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times a day and massaged until complete absorption. The duration of treatment is 7-15 days.
Children under 12 years of age: No studies have been performed with Aulin gel in this group of patients. Therefore, the safety and efficacy of the product have not been established and therefore the product should not be used in children (see section 4.3).
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: There are no data from the use of Aulin gel in pregnant or breast-feeding women. Therefore, the product should not be used during pregnancy or lactation unless clearly necessary.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. History of allergic reactions such as rhinitis, urticaria or bronchospasm following administration of acetylsalicylic acid or other prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors. Application on skin injured or affected by a local infection. Concomitant use with other topical preparations. Administration to children under 12 years
Ingredients
The active substance is nimesulide. One gram of gel contains 30 mg of nimesulide. . The other ingredients are purified water, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, glycerol macrogoloctanodecanoate, carbomers, disodium edetate dihydrate, trolamine, methyl paraben (E 218) and propyl paraben (E 216).
Dávkování
Dospělí: Aulin gel (v množství obvykle 3 g, což odpovídá 6-7 cm vytlačeného pruhu gelu) se nanese v tenké vrstvě na postižené místo 2-3 krát denně a vmasíruje se až do kompletního vstřebání. Délka léčby je 7-15 dnů.
Děti mladší 12 let: U této skupiny pacientů nebyly s přípravkem Aulin gel provedeny žádné studie. Bezpečnost a účinnost přípravku tedy nebyla stanovena, a proto by přípravek neměl být dětem aplikován (viz bod 4.3).
Těhotenství a kojení: Nejsou k dispozici údaje o podávání Aulin gelu těhotným nebo kojícím ženám. Proto by přípravek neměl být v průběhu těhotenství ani kojení používán, pokud to není nezbytně nutné.
Kontraindikace
Hypersenzitivita na léčivou látku nebo na kteroukoli pomocnou látku uvedenou v bodě 6.1. Alergická reakce jako je rinitida, kopřivka nebo bronchospasmus v anamnéze po podání kyseliny acetylsalicylové nebo jiných látek inhibujících syntézu prostaglandinů. Aplikace na kůži poraněnou nebo postiženou lokální infekcí. Současné používání s jinými lokálními přípravky. Podávání dětem mladším 12 let
Složení
Léčivou látkou je nimesulidum. Jeden gram gelu obsahuje 30 mg nimesulidu. . Pomocnými látkami jsou čištěná voda, diethylenglykol-monoethylether, glyceromakrogoloktanodekanoat, karbomery, dihydrát dinatrium-edetátu, trolamin, methylparaben (E 218) a propylparaben (E 216).
