Acetylsalicylic acid has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. The mechanism of action is based on the irreversible inhibition of cyclooxygenase. This enzyme is involved in the formation of prostaglandins, a group of endogenous messenger substances that, among other things, Mediate pain and inflammation responses in our body. Due to the same mechanism, acetylsalicylic acid also inhibits platelet aggregation and thus improves the flow properties of the blood.

Please take the tablets with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water) and not on an empty stomach.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dosage is as follows:
Children aged 6-14 years can take ½ – 1 tablet 3 times a day.
Adolescents and adults can take 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.
If necessary, the single dose can be taken at intervals of 4-8 hours up to 3 times a day. Do not take the medicine for more than 4 days without medical or dental advice.

Acetylsalicylsaure besitzt analgetische, antipyretische und antiphlogistische Eigenschaften. Der Wirkmechanismus beruht auf der irreversiblen Hemmung der Cyclooxygenase. Dieses Enzym ist an der Bildung von Prostaglandinen beteiligt, einer Gruppe korpereigener Botenstoffe, die u.a. Schmerz- und Entzundungsreaktionen in unserem Korper vermitteln. Durch den selben Mechanismus bedingt, hemmt Acetylsalicylsaure auch die Thrombozytenaggregation und verbessert so die Flie?eigenschaften des Blutes.

Nehmen Sie die Tabletten bitte mit reichlich Flussigkeit (z. B. einem Glas Wasser) und nicht auf nuchternen Magen ein.

Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die empfohlene Dosierung folgende:
Kinder im Alter von 6-14 Jahren konnen 3-mal taglich je ? – 1 Tablette einnehmen.
Jugendliche und Erwachsende konnen 3-mal taglich je 1-2 Tabletten einnehmen.
Die Einzeldosis kann, falls erforderlich, in Abstanden von 4-8 Stunden bis zu 3-mal taglich eingenommen werden. Nehmen Sie das Arzneimittel ohne arztlichen oder zahnarztlichen Rat nicht langer als 4 Tage ein.
