Always take the medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is
Adults take 2 film-coated tablets daily (equivalent to 1 g tryptophan).
In consultation with your doctor, this dose can be increased by up to 4 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 2 g tryptophan).
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.
Duration of treatment
After 3 – 4 weeks, your doctor should review the need for further treatment with the product.
There is no experience with its use in long-term treatment.

If you take more than you should
Poisoning with tryptophan, the active ingredient of the preparation, is only to be expected in the case of substantial overdoses and manifests itself as vomiting and with symptoms of the serotonin syndrome.
Please inform a doctor in case of suspicion. As a medical measure, symptomatic treatment with constant monitoring and maintenance of vital functions is recommended.
If you forget to take a dose
Do not take a double dose, but continue taking as directed here or as directed by your doctor.

Uber die Anwendung in der Langzeitbehandlung liegen keine Erfahrungen vor.

Wenn Sie eine gro?ere Menge eingenommen haben, als Sie sollten
Vergiftungen mit Tryptophan, dem Wirkstoff des Praparates, sind nur bei erheblichen Uberdosierungen zu erwarten und au?ern sich als Erbrechen und mit Erscheinungen des Serotonin-Syndroms.
Bitte informieren Sie im Verdachtsfall einen Arzt. Als arztliche Ma?nahme wird eine symptomatische Behandlung unter standiger Kontrolle und Aufrechterhaltung der vitalen Funktionen empfohlen.
Wenn Sie die Einnahme vergessen haben
Nehmen Sie nicht die doppelte Dosis ein, sondern setzen Sie die Einnahme so fort, wie es hier angegeben ist oder von Ihrem Arzt verordnet wurde.
