For Kids
The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the medicine differently. Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise the drug cannot work properly. If you are not sure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Children from 6 to 12 years of age take ½ tablet 2 to 3 times a day (corresponding to 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults take 1 tablet 3 times a day (equivalent to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day) during the first 2-3 days, then 1 tablet twice a day (equivalent to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
The effectiveness can be increased by taking 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride twice a day (corresponds to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Note:
If you have impaired kidney function or severe liver disease, you must take the medicine longer or reduce the dose.
How long should you take the medicine?
Do not take the medicine for more than 4-5 days without medical advice. If after this time there is no improvement or your clinical picture worsens, you should consult a doctor

Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren und Erwachsene nehmen während der ersten 2-3 Tage 3-mal täglich je 1 Tablette (entsprechend 90 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) ein, danach 2-mal täglich je 1 Tablette (entsprechend 60 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).
Eine Steigerung der Wirksamkeit ist gegebenenfalls durch die Einnahme von 2-mal täglich 60 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid (entspricht 120 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) möglich.
Hinweis:
Wenn Sie an einer eingeschränkten Nierenfunktion oder einer schweren Lebererkrankung leiden, müssen Sie die Einnahmeabstände von dem Arzneimittel vergrößern oder die Dosis vermindern.
Wie lange sollten Sie das Arzneimittel einnehmen?
Nehmen Sie das Arzneimittel ohne ärztlichen Rat nicht länger als 4-5 Tage ein. Wenn nach dieser Zeit keine Besserung eintritt oder sich Ihr Krankheitsbild verschlimmert, sollten Sie einen Arzt aufsuchen
