Aleve is a medicinal product for pain relief (headache, toothache, muscle pain, back pain), fever and inflammation, and painful menstruation.
The active substance is: sodium naproxen.
1 tablet contains 220 mg of naproxen sodium.
Excipients: povidone K 30, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, magnesium stearate; The composition of the shell: Opadry Blue YS-1-4215: titanium dioxide, hypromellose, Macrogol 8000, indigo carmine E132).
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and adolescents from 16 years of age: 1 tablet (220 mg) every 8-12 hours until symptoms disappear. Alternative: starting dose of 2 tablets (440 mg) followed by 1 tablet (220 mg) 12 hours later.
Do not exceed the daily dose of 660 mg (3 tablets).
The drug for oral use, take the drug with a glass of water, regardless of the meal (food may slightly slow down the absorption of the drug).
Do not use for more than 10 days in case of pain and 3 days in case of fever, without consulting a doctor.
Action
Aleve has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. It is also an anti-rheumatic drug. Aleve reduces pain, lowers fever and slows down inflammatory responses.
