Agaricus Blazei Murrill is a Brazilian edible mushroom, low in calories and high in nutrients such as minerals, vitamins and amino acids. They come from a small town called Piedade. In 1960, Japanese scientist Takatoshi Furumoto, after discovering this mushroom, sent it to a research unit in Japan to study it. His analysis shows that Agaricus ABM has a higher level of protein and carbohydrates than most mushrooms. Despite the activity of nutrients, interest in it is associated with its healing properties.
