Ingredients
The active ingredient in Recigar is cytisine. Each tablet contains 1.5 mg of cytisine. Dosage
One package of Recigar tablets (100 tablets) is enough for complete therapy. Duration of treatment is 25 days. The medicine should be taken orally with an appropriate amount of water, according to the following scheme.
From 1 to 3 days: 1 tablet every 2 hours (maximum dose – 6 tablets).
From 4 to 12 days: 1 tablet every 2.5 hours (maximum dose 5 tablets).
From 13 to 16 days: 1 tablet every 3 hours (maximum dose – 4 tablets).
From 17 to 20 days: 1 tablet every 5 hours (maximum dose – 3 tablets).
From 21 to 25 days: 1-2 tablets per day (up to 2 tablets).
Contraindications
Recigar anti-smoking tablets should not be used: if you are allergic to cytisine or any of the components of the drug, if you have unstable angina, if you have recently suffered a heart attack, if you have clinically significant heart rhythm disturbances, if you have recently had a cerebral stroke, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
