Cistus, Latin Cistus or also rock rose is an evergreen shrub with simple leaves and conspicuous regular flowers, which literally have a poppy life. As soon as they develop in the morning, they wither and fall off with the arrival of the evening, but the plants compensate for this deficiency by rich use of the flower. Despite this “handicap”, Cistus found his way to our gardens and homes thanks to his flowers. In addition to delicate beauty, the flowers also give off a strongly aromatic scent.
Preparation: Pour 1 – 2 teaspoons of tea into boiling water (approx. 1.5 – 2 dcl) and cover and leave to infuse for about 10 minutes, then strain. Specified daily dose: 3 g herbs / day (2 cups / day)
Cistus tastes distinctly herbal, aromatic, slightly bitter. It tastes great with lemon and honey. The infusion is light yellow.

Prйparation : Verser 1 а 2 cuillиres а cafй de thй dans de l’eau bouillante (environ 1,5 а 2 dcl) et couvrir et laisser infuser environ 10 minutes, puis filtrer. Dose quotidienne spйcifiйe : 3 g d’herbes / jour (2 tasses / jour)
Le ciste a un goыt distinctement herbacй, aromatique, lйgиrement amer. Il est dйlicieux avec du citron et du miel. L’infusion est jaune clair.
