Description of the dosage form

Solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration: transparent liquid from yellow to greenish-yellow.

Pharmacological action – antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory.

Pharmacodynamics

CYCLOFERON® is a low-molecular interferon inducer, which determines a wide range of its biological activity (including antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory).

The main cells producing interferon after the administration of CYCLOFERON® are macrophages, T- and B-lymphocytes. Depending on the type of infection, the predominance of the activity of one or another link of the immune system is noted. The drug induces high titers of interferon in organs and tissues containing lymphoid elements (spleen, liver, lungs), activates bone marrow stem cells, stimulating the formation of granulocytes. CYCLOFERON® activates T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells, normalizes the balance between the subpopulations of T-helpers and T-suppressors. Enhances the activity of α-suppressors and α-interferons.

Preclinical studies have shown that the use of CYCLOFERON® in the early stages of the infectious process leads to a decrease in the viral load (virus titer) in the lung tissue. Increases non-specific resistance of the body to viral and bacterial infections.

Clinical efficacy and safety

CYCLOFERON® exhibits antiviral activity against pathogens of tick-borne encephalitis, influenza, herpes, cytomegalovirus, papilloma virus and other viruses. Фармакологическое действие — противовирусное, иммуномодулирующее, противовоспалительное.

Фармакодинамика
ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® — низкомолекулярный индуктор интерферона, что обусловливает широкий спектр его биологической активности (в том числе противовирусной, иммуномодулирующей, противовоспалительной).
Основными клетками, продуцирующими интерферон после введения ЦИКЛОФЕРОНА®, являются макрофаги, Т- и В-лимфоциты. В зависимости от вида инфекции отмечается преобладание активности того или иного звена иммунной системы. Препарат индуцирует высокие титры интерферона в органах и тканях, содержащих лимфоидные элементы (селезенка, печень, легкие), активирует стволовые клетки костного мозга, стимулируя образование гранулоцитов. ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® активирует Т-лимфоциты и естественные киллерные клетки, нормализует баланс между субпопуляциями Т-хелперов и Т-супрессоров. Усиливает активность α-супрессоров и α-интерферонов.
Доклинические исследования показали, что применение ЦИКЛОФЕРОНА® на ранних стадиях инфекционного процесса приводит к снижению вирусной нагрузки (титра вируса) в легочной ткани. Повышает неспецифическую резистентность организма к вирусным и бактериальным инфекциям.
Клиническая эффективность и безопасность

ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® проявляет противовирусную активность в отношении возбудителей клещевого энцефалита, гриппа, герпеса, цитомегаловируса, вируса папилломы и других вирусов. CYCLOFERON® es un inductor de interferón de bajo peso molecular, que determina una amplia gama de su actividad biológica (incluidas antiviral, inmunomoduladora y antiinflamatoria).

Las principales células que producen interferón después de la administración de CYCLOFERON® son los macrófagos y los linfocitos T y B. Dependiendo del tipo de infección, predomina la actividad de una u otra parte del sistema inmunológico. El fármaco induce títulos elevados de interferón en órganos y tejidos que contienen elementos linfoides (bazo, hígado, pulmones), activa las células madre de la médula ósea y estimula la formación de granulocitos. CYCLOFERON® activa los linfocitos T y las células asesinas naturales, normaliza el equilibrio entre las subpoblaciones de T auxiliares y T supresores. Mejora la actividad de los α-supresores y los α-interferones.

Los estudios preclínicos han demostrado que el uso de CYCLOFERON® en las primeras etapas del proceso infeccioso conduce a una disminución de la carga viral (título de virus) en el tejido pulmonar. Aumenta la resistencia inespecífica del organismo a infecciones virales y bacterianas.
