Strepsils Plus contains dichlorobenzenemethanol and amylmetacresol, which have antiseptic effects and kill bacteria that cause sore throats and inflammation of the oral cavity. It also contains lidocaine to relieve pain by local depressant action on nerve endings in tissues.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age – The lozenges are sucked or allowed to dissolve freely in the mouth. The lozenges can be taken every two to three hours. No more than 8 lozenges should be taken in 24 hours. The product is intended for short-term treatment, treatment should not last longer than 5 days.

Dospělí a dospívající nad 12 let – Pastilky se cucají nebo nechají volně rozplynout v ústech. Pastilky se mohou užívat každé dvě až tři hodiny. V průběhu 24 hodin by se nemělo užívat víc než 8 pastilek. Přípravek je určen ke krátkodobé léčbě, léčba by neměla trvat déle než 5 dnů.
