Lutein is a constituent of the retina and the lens. Associated with zeaxanthin, it constitutes the macular pigment. Lutein helps protect the lens and retina from oxidation.
Long chain omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, and DHA (docosahéxaenoic acid) in particular, are essential for the fluidity and elasticity of cell membranes.
DHA is a major constituent of photoreceptors, cells responsible for the perception of light. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant which neutralizes the deleterious effects of free radicals.
Vitamin E works in synergy with vitamin C to protect the retina. It is necessary for the protection of cell membranes and to protect fatty acids from oxidation. Zinc and copper are two coenzymes that are essential for the proper functioning of superoxide dismutase (Cu-Zn SOD), a key cell protection enzyme, which neutralizes the effect of free radicals.

VISIOPREV Duo est un complement alimentaire qui apporte des elements nutritifs necessaires au bon fonctionnement de la retine et du cristallin.
La luteine est un constituant de la retine et du cristallin. Associee a la zeaxanthine, elle constitue le pigment maculaire. La luteine contribue a proteger le cristallin et la retine de l’oxydation.
Les acides gras polyinsatures Omega 3 chaine longue, et le DHA (acide docosahexae-noique) en particulier, sont indispensables a la fluidite et a l’elasticite des membranes cellulaires.
Le DHA est un constituant majeur des photorecepteurs, cellules chargees de la perception de la lumiere. La vitamine C est un puissant antioxydant qui neutralise les effets deleteres des radicaux libres.
La vitamine E agit en synergie avec la vitamine C pour proteger la retine. Elle est necessaire a la protection des membranes cellulaires et pour proteger les acides gras de l’oxydation.
